Material Management System
End-to-end digital materials management from planning to consumption.
Leveraging the powerful capabilities of the Internet of Things (IoT), this system enables comprehensive big data management for urban rail transit material assets, including: material warehousing and production process management; warehouse inbound/outbound alert management for work teams; production material quota-based inventory safety alert management; statistical data management for material consumption quotas; and a complete end-to-end workflow—from material asset planning, procurement, acceptance, storage, and distribution, to work-team material requisition, storage, and withdrawal—along with information entry, query, and statistical analysis. The system also supports the configuration of warehouse inbound/outbound alerts, material quota safety alerts, and statistical analysis of material consumption quotas, thereby establishing a unified big data-driven warehousing and operational platform for material management. All operational workflows incorporate an electronic signature mechanism, and the platform supports file scanning and upload, image capture and upload, as well as automatic linkage to corresponding reports, achieving paperless material management operations.
Solution
The Material Management System is an intelligent management platform designed for enterprise warehousing operations and maintenance. Built upon a "large-scale platform with microservices" architecture and developed using Java technology, the system supports cloud-based deployment. It covers core business functions—including basic material data management, procurement and inbound warehousing, material dispatch and outbound warehousing, material transfer and return, tool and equipment lending and returning, calibration of measuring instruments, barcode-based inventory counting, and report generation—enabling multi-level warehouse collaboration management from a central warehouse to departmental sub-warehouses. By leveraging QR code binding and scanning terminals, the system achieves precise "one item, one code" tracking of materials; it features a configurable approval workflow and an RBAC permission framework to standardize business processes; and it provides intelligent notification capabilities—such as inventory safety alerts and expiration reminders for pending inspections—to mitigate warehousing risks. The system also includes pre-configured interfaces with external systems (e.g., procurement, finance, and contract management), supporting full-lifecycle material management and helping enterprises reduce costs while enhancing operational efficiency.
Why Choose Us
End-to-end digitalized management
This solution covers the full lifecycle management of materials—from procurement and arrival, inspection and acceptance, warehousing, outbound distribution, inter-warehouse transfer, returns, to scrapping—while supporting precise tracking via a "one item, one QR code" mechanism. It enables end-to-end traceability of material flow, eliminating the need for traditional manual bookkeeping practices.
Multi-dimensional Intelligent Early Warning
Provide multi-dimensional intelligent alerts—including safety warnings for inventory upper and lower limits, reminders for the expiration of measurement tool inspections, and threshold warnings for material consumption—while automatically generating pending tasks to ensure seamless and comprehensive material management without delay or omissions.
Cross-platform synergy between PC and mobile devices
The system supports dual-end operation via both desktop computers and handheld terminals/mobile phones, enabling users to complete tasks such as inbound, outbound, and inventory management simply by scanning a QR code. Work teams can flexibly choose between the handheld terminal and the central warehouse system, thereby enhancing on-site operational efficiency.
Big Data Visualization Dashboard
Using a variety of visual formats—including charts, tables, and numerical displays—it provides real-time overviews of material data and inventory structures, supports multi-dimensional statistical analysis reports, and offers intuitive data-driven support for management decision-making.
